Control & Communication Can I control the Force?
Yes. You can limit the motor’s maximum output force (Stall
Force) by adjusting the Goal Current (or Current Limit) parameter. This
prevents excessive force when gripping or pressing objects. If you lower the
Goal Current to the minimum of 200mA, the force will be reduced to barely lift
the rated load. -
Control & Communication I want to control it with very weak force (e.g., 1~2N), but the motor doesn’t move.
The motor needs a minimum amount of force to overcome the
internal friction of the gearbox and parts. Due to its structure, mightyZAP may
not move or may operate unstably if the current limit is set below 200mA.
Therefore, there is a lower limit to controllable force, and we recommend
setting the Current Limit to 200mA or higher.
