FAQ

  1. Troubleshooting How do I request a product repair?

Please send your request by e-mail at cs@mightyzap.com.
Repairs for defects within 1 year of purchase are free, but damages caused by
user misuse (overload, breakage, water damage, etc.) may incur a fee.

  2. Troubleshooting Can I disassemble the product?

Arbitrary disassembly may misalign precision gears or
sensor calibration and voids the warranty. If a repair is needed, please
    request A/S through our headquarters.

  3. Troubleshooting Can I disassemble the product?

Arbitrary disassembly may misalign precision gears or
sensor calibration and voids the warranty. If a repair is needed, please
    request A/S through our headquarters.

  4. Troubleshooting The position feedback value jumps erratically.

This could be due to potentiometer (position sensor) wear
or poor contact. It could also be power noise. Check power stability. If the
problem persists, inspection (A/S) may be required.

  5. Troubleshooting The motor case is hot. Is this normal?

Heat generation during continuous operation is normal.
However, if it is too hot to touch, you may be exceeding the Duty Cycle (50%)
or the motor is overloaded. Please increase the rest time.

  6. Troubleshooting Communication cuts out suddenly and recovers only after a power cycle.

Strong electrical noise or ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
may have entered the communication line. Install a ferrite core on the
wiring or check the termination resistor on the RS-485 line.

  7. Troubleshooting Does Total Manager software support Linux as well as Windows?

Yes, it is compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit) or higher
and Linux Ubuntu LTS 20.04 (64-bit) or higher.

  8. Troubleshooting I want it to move only between two ends like a limit switch.

For the 17Lf series, you can connect a switch to the Extended
    I/O port
and set it to Switch Mode. This allows end-to-end control
without communication. Alternatively, check our 12L/12D series, which are
    dedicated mini limit switch actuators.

  9. Troubleshooting The rod moves with a stutter.

The power supply current capacity might be insufficient.
The motor draws peak current upon startup; if the supply drops, the voltage may
dip (Reset). Use a power supply (SMPS) with sufficient capacity.

  10. Troubleshooting The firmware update failed, and the product is unresponsive (Bricked).

If the cable is disconnected or power is lost during an
update, the firmware may be corrupted. The product is not broken but stuck in Bootloader
    mode
. Use the ‘Recovery’ function in the Total Manager’s Update menu
    to restore the factory firmware.
